At the Hounddog Hotel,we understand the need for safety & security.

This is foremost with us. All our rooms have up to date smoke detectors  fitted.  All our corridors have Safety Lights that are illuminated, 24 hours a day. We have an  L2 Fire alarm system fitted in our Guest house which is in accordance with current legisiation.

 CLOSE CIRCUIT TELEVISION Cameras are located on first floor landing and in the hall.

This year we have introduced in most of our rooms Hotel Safes.    There would be a refundable deposit to pay for the key, just ask.           

All bedrooms doors have thumb twist locks fitted for your safety.

Our aim is to give you a holiday that you enjoy and remember. But also gives you peace of mind having that extra security and safety.
